Sarah Altenhof
Chiropractor
Dr. Sarah is a dedicated chiropractor and wellness enthusiast. From a young age, she played many sports and experienced several injuries, which ultimately led her to seek chiropractic care. This drove a passion for her to help others, the same way she was helped and healed. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, following a degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor. Additionally, Dr. Sarah is trained and certified in Webster Technique – a specific analysis and treatment for pregnancy.
Dr. Sarah’s practice style includes an evidence-based approach with detailed physical examinations, diagnosis and hands on manual therapy. Her treatments combine joint manipulations and mobilizations with other non-invasive techniques such as: myofascial release technique (MRT), exercise and mobility prescription, cupping therapy, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching.
Dr. Sarah takes a special interest in headaches and neck pain, golf-related injuries and pre/post-natal care.
In her spare time, you can find Sarah walking with her dog, Rudy, exploring new recipes in the kitchen and playing card games. She also loves staying active through various forms of movement; ranging from hot yoga and golf to cycling and running!
